GCHS Model Railroad Display
Take a ride around Xenia, between 1920 & 1950, via the HO gauge model railroad display at the Brantley Carriage House! Enjoy the video taken from “train’s eye view” as you cruise around town.
See historic locations such as the courthouse, the Eavey building, the Opera House, the Pennsylvania Railroad Depot, the round house, and more! Also featured is the “Dinky” trolley on the Detroit Street tracks.
National Model Railroad Association, Division 3 (Miami Valley)
Railroads have always played an important part in Xenia, and that includes model railroads! The museum provides a meeting space for the Miami Valley Division of the National Model Railroad Association monthly meetings on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The NMRA is an organization of model railroaders, whose goal is to advance the worldwide scale railroading community through education and standards, as well as advocacy and fellowship.
